New Delhi: On Monday, India expressed significant concern regarding a drone attack that targeted the Barakah nuclear facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), highlighting a troubling escalation in the ongoing West Asia conflict.

This statement from New Delhi followed a drone strike that hit a generator near the UAE's only nuclear power plant, resulting in a fire at the facility's perimeter.

As of now, no group has taken responsibility for the attack. The UAE's Ministry of Defence is currently investigating the origin of the drone strike.
