For Rubina Dilaik , motherhood has not distanced her from work, but has changed the way she approaches it. The actress, who has consciously slowed down on full-fledged fiction projects after becoming a mother to twin daughters in 2023, says her priorities have shifted dramatically. While she continues to explore hosting and being part of reality shows, Rubina admits she no longer measures fulfilment through constant visibility or long working hours.
Speaking about acting and whether she misses being part of fiction shows, the Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress says she does not feel any sense of regret about slowing down professionally. “I like the way things are moving on the work front. If I say I am craving to be back in a daily soap , then I am not being honest,” shares Rubina, who will be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi for the second time.
She adds, “The industry is changing and giving actors more freedom to choose the kind of projects they want to do. We are seeing a drastic change in the kind of content and shows that are coming up. The space that I am expanding in now gives me the freedom to choose what kind of work I want to pick up.”
