DU PG Admission 2026: Registration for PG Admissions at Delhi University Begins; Apply by This Date..

Delhi University (DU) has commenced the registration process for admission to its Post-Graduation (PG) courses for the academic session 2026-27. Under the National Education Policy (NEP), the university has introduced both one-year and two-year post-graduate degree courses. According to a press release issued by the university, registration for the two-year post-graduate courses began on May 16 and will continue until 11:59 PM on June 7. DU stated that the admission process will be conducted through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) PG portal and will be based solely on the CUET-PG 2026 scores obtained in the respective subject papers.

The registration fee has been fixed at ₹100 per course for students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, while for candidates from the General, Other Backward Classes (OBC)—Non-Creamy Layer, and Minority categories, the fee is ₹250 per course. Additionally, the university has introduced options for 'Mid-Entry' and 'Spot Admissions' for students who miss the initial deadline. DU stated that those who fail to apply within the stipulated timeframe may still seek admission through the Mid-Entry option by paying a fee of ₹1,000.

How to Apply?
First, visit the official Delhi University CSAS-PG portal.
Next, register and log in using your credentials.
Subsequently, fill in the required personal and academic details.
The CUET-PG 2026 scores will now be automatically retrieved via DigiLocker and API Setu.
Complete the application process before the deadline of June 7.

Undergraduate Students Can Also Apply
DU stated that students currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of their undergraduate studies will also be eligible to apply for the two-year Master's courses, subject to meeting the specific eligibility criteria for the respective courses. Delhi University further clarified that applications for the one-year PG courses will be opened separately on a different portal, the details of which will be announced at a later date. Students are advised to regularly visit the website pgadmission.uod.ac.in for admission-related information.
