The admit card alone will not suffice for entry into the examination center. Candidates must also carry a valid photo identity card with them. Documents such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport will be accepted as valid proof of identity. No candidate will be granted entry into the examination center without valid ID proof.
**Prohibited Items at the Examination Center**
The UPSC has implemented several strict rules to ensure a fair and secure examination process. Carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, or any other electronic gadgets into the examination hall is strictly prohibited. If any candidate is found in possession of prohibited items, disciplinary action may be taken against them.
**How to Download the UPSC Prelims Admit Card**
First, visit the official UPSC website.
Next, click on the 'Admit Card' section provided on the homepage.
Then, select one of the following options: Mobile & OTP, URN & Password, or Email & Password.
Enter your details and click on 'Sign In'.
Now, click on the 'UPSC Prelims Admit Card 2026' link.
The admit card will appear on the screen; you may then download it and take a printout.
