Raveena said, “Fortunately, we had CCTV cameras, which immediately revealed the truth. Social media today is both a boon and a curse. People tried to present the video in a different way by editing it. The police also said that it was a complete ransom conspiracy. They just wanted to create a ruckus.”

‘The mob was trying to forcefully enter my house’

Raveena Tandon told that the situation had become very tense at that time. He said that some people had gathered outside his house and were trying to forcefully enter inside. During that time his children were also present in the house. She said, “A mob was trying to enter my house. My children were inside and my husband was in the office. In such a situation, would I have allowed anyone to enter the house? I stood up for the safety of my family. But their aim was only to scare us and settle the matter for money.”

She said, “When I came out, a crowd of about 30 people gathered. My driver took me inside the gate. I called the police, but he himself remained outside and people started beating him.”
