Israel kills chief of Hamas’s military wing

Desk. Israel has killed Hamas’ military wing chief Izz al-Din al-Haddad in an air strike. The Israeli army claimed last Saturday that al-Din al-Haddad was one of the last remaining top commanders who had planned the massive attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. On the other hand, Hamas has also confirmed the death of Al-Haddad through social media.

According to the Israeli Army, al-Haddad was killed in an airstrike in Gaza last Friday. He was a senior military strategist of Hamas, who played an important role in planning and executing the October 2023 attack on Israel. In that attack, about 1,200 people were brutally killed in South Israel, while more than 250 Israelis were kidnapped.
