Men's Hockey: Australia Takes 3-1 Lead
In the men's match, Australia emerged victorious with a score of 3-1, taking a 1-0 lead in the four-match series after the first game ended in a 2-2 draw. Arjun Brian scored the first goal for Australia in the 16th minute of the second quarter. India quickly equalized with a goal from Ashish Tani Purti in the 24th minute. However, Australia regained the upper hand in the third quarter, with goals from Sam Peoples (39') and Angus Mcmullen (45') sealing their win.
Women's Team Faces 1-4 Defeat
The Indian U18 Women's Team faced a disappointing 1-4 loss against Australia. Diya scored an early goal in the 11th minute, giving India a brief lead. However, Australia responded strongly, with Anneliese Cullen (26'), Giselle Thompson (31'), Aurora Kovacevich (36'), and Stella Bartholomeusz (48') scoring to secure their second consecutive victory in the series.
