In cities like Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram, petrol prices have even crossed the ₹110 mark. The Real Reason Behind the Price Hike

Why, exactly, have petrol and diesel prices surged so suddenly? The primary reason for this lies not within India, but in the ongoing tensions at the international level. Currently, the entire world is grappling with a major energy crisis. This situation has arisen due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia—specifically, the Middle East. As a result of the war, the prices of 'Brent Crude Oil'—or raw crude oil—have reached record levels in the international market. Globally, crude oil prices have risen by more than 50 percent.
