Basil Joseph, Tovino Thomas, and Vineeth Sreenivasan have teamed up for the Malayalam campus entertainer 'Athiradi'. The film is doing good box office performance along with decent reviews from the audiences.

According to Filmibeat, the digital streaming rights of 'Athiradi' have been acquired by SonyLIV. Following its theatrical run, the film is expected to premiere on the platform. The makers have not yet officially confirmed the OTT release date.
Day 2 box office collection of 'Athiradi''Athiradi' continues its theatrical run after posting a strong opening at the box office. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 4.25 crore net in India on Day 2 across 1,776 shows. This represents a 23.4 percent decline from its Day 1 collection of Rs 5.55 crore net. Despite the drop the film has maintained solid momentum.

'Athiradi' is a lively campus entertainer that revolves around friendship, rivalry and youthful energy. The film brings together comedy, emotion, and action within a college setting. The casting includes Basil Joseph, Tovino Thomas, and Vineeth Sreenivasan.
ETimes awarded 'Athiradi' 4 out of 5 stars and our review states, "Athiradi heavily revolves around male friendships and male emotions, leaving actresses like Zarin Shihab and Riya Shibu with very little to do beyond supporting the heroes. Stronger female characters and more emotional layering could have elevated the film further."
On the other hand, Basil Joseph was last seen in the Sivakathikeyan starrer 'Parasakthi' which unfortunately received mixed reviews from the audiences. Tovino Thomas was recently seen in the Dijo Jose Antony's film 'Pallichattambi' which also received mixed reviews. Vineeth Sreenivasan's previous outing was the Dileep starrer ' .' which had Dhyan Sreenivasan also in a pivotal roles. Vineeth's previous directorial was 'Karam'.
