New Delhi: Congress leader and former party president Sonia Gandhi visited Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on Wednesday (May 13) for a routine medical check-up, party sources confirmed. She returned home the same day. Hospital authorities did not issue an official statement regarding her visit.

Initial reports suggested that Sonia Gandhi had been admitted to the hospital for treatment. However, Congress sources clarified that her visit was strictly for scheduled medical procedures, and no hospitalization took place.
Recent Health Concerns
In March, Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi after being diagnosed with a systemic infection accompanied by fever. She remained under medical care for around a week and responded well to antibiotics, according to doctors.
