New Delhi. National Testing Agency (NTA) has canceled the NEET exam held on May 3. There is now a political uproar across the country regarding this. Due to cancellation of NEET exam, Hrithik Mishra from Lakhimpur Kheri, UP and a candidate from Gaona committed suicide. Rahul Gandhi has cornered the government regarding this. Also said, this is not suicide, this is murder by the system. From 2015 to 2026 – 148 examination scams took place. 87 examinations cancelled, future of 9 crore children affected.

Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media, “Now you will not have to give competitive exams.” These were the last words of 21 year old Hrithik Mishra of Lakhimpur Kheri. This child, who appeared for NEET for the third time, was heartbroken as soon as the exam was cancelled. In Goa also a NEET candidate committed suicide. These children did not lose in exams, they were killed by a corrupt system. This is not suicide – this is murder by the system.

He further wrote, Look at the statistics: From 2015 to 2026 – 148 exam scams. 87 exams cancelled, future of 9 crore children affected. Punishment was given in 148 scams – only 1. CBI took 17 cases, ED took 11 – no one was punished. 15 scams in NEET, AIPMT and other medical exams alone.

And the most shameful thing: no officer or minister responsible in these scams resigned. They are removed and then secretly appointed to higher positions. Those who commit the theft get rewarded, and the children who take the exam lose their lives. Modi ji-How many Hrithik are needed to awaken your accountability? My young friends, your pain is my pain. Your hard work is my hard work. Those who stole your future will have to answer. No matter how much time it takes, no one will be spared – this is my promise. We will fight this battle together – and we will win.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had said that, NEET 2026 exam has been cancelled. The hard work, sacrifice and dreams of more than 22 lakh students were crushed by this corrupt BJP system. Some father took a loan, some mother sold jewellery, lakhs of children stayed awake all night to study, and in return they got paper leaks, government negligence and organized corruption in education. This is not just a failure, it is a crime against the future of the youth. Every time the paper mafia gets away and the honest students suffer the punishment. Now lakhs of students will again face the same mental stress, financial burden and uncertainty. If one’s destiny is determined not by hard work but by money and access, then what will be the meaning of education? The so-called amrit kaal of the Prime Minister has become a poisonous kaal for the country.
