Karachi Police have intensified their investigation into an alleged drug trafficking network linked to a woman identified as Anmol, also known as “Pinky,” after shocking new details emerged about her criminal activities and connections across the city.

According to police officials, Pinky had reportedly been involved in illegal drug operations since 2014 and expanded her activities in Karachi around 2018. Authorities revealed that a forensic analysis of her mobile phone uncovered nearly 869 contact numbers, including more than 130 based in Karachi, suggesting a large and organized network operating within the city.

Karachi Police Chief Azaad Khan stated that investigators are not limiting the probe to Karachi alone and are attempting to trace the wider network connected to the accused. Police have already detained several individuals who allegedly purchased drugs from Pinky and resold them in different areas. Officials also confirmed that efforts are underway to arrest facilitators and other accomplices linked to the operation.

Authorities disclosed that around 20 cases connected to Pinky have surfaced during the investigation. While six cases have reportedly been closed, nine major cases are directly tied to the broader drug network. Police say some cases involve international links, including suspects from African countries.

The case has also sparked intense debate on social media, where many users criticized the police while others sensationalized the accused. Police officials expressed concern that the discussion online was turning the suspect into a controversial public figure instead of focusing on the dangers of drug trafficking and its impact on young people.
