Today, workers of Savarna Army, Mirzapur held a strong demonstration at the district headquarters in protest against the objectionable statement of Mirzapur Samajwadi Party spokesperson Rajkumar Bhati that the Brahmin community is “like a prostitute”.
Under the leadership of District Convener Sushil Kumar Pandey* and *District President Mukesh Kumar Pandey*, hundreds of workers burnt the effigy of Rajkumar Bhati at Hospital Tiraha and raised slogans against SP.
District convenor Sushil Kumar Pandey* said, “Rajkumar Bhati’s statement is an insult not only to the Brahmin community but to the entire Sanatan Dharma. SP has always worked to divide the society for votes. Brahmin is not a ‘subject’, it is the idea of the nation. If Akhilesh Yadav does not apologize within 24 hours and does not expel Bhati from the party, then the upper caste army will launch a violent movement in the entire state.”
District President Mukesh Kumar Pandey* said, “The Brahmin community has given freedom to the country like Chanakya, Mangal Pandey and Chandrashekhar. SP leaders are insulting us from the stage. This will not be tolerated. Today the effigy has been burnt, tomorrow we will gherao the SP office. In 2027, the Brahmin community will respond to this with the loss of votes.”
The same Ramakant Dubey said that if the Samajwadi Party National President does not immediately dismiss such a ridiculous spokesperson and turn him into a street dog, then our protest will continue and in the future, the election results will show the Samajwadi Party its worth.
The protestors mainly included Guddu Singh, Krishnakant Dubey, Anand Pathak, Advocate Vinay Pandey, Chintu Singh, Kallu Dubey, Avnish Dubey, Ajay Dubey, Dilip Singh Gaharwar.
