Mushfiqur Rahim: Bangladesh team is going on Australia tour after 23 years, about which the whole team is excited. Bangladesh has to play two test matches against Australia in August, which will be played in Darwin and Queensland. After getting Test status, Bangladesh toured Australia only once in 2003, losing both the matches. After that, only five Test matches have been played between the two teams, in which Bangladesh won one match in Mirpur in 2017. Bangladesh's experienced batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has given a big statement regarding this tour.

Mushfiqur's big statement on Australia tour

Mushfiqur Rahim has said that it is his big dream to play a Test match against Australia in Australia. Mushfiqur Rahim said this while talking to the media before the ongoing second and last Test against Pakistan in Sylhet. Let us tell you, Mushfiqur Rahim is the most senior player of the team, but he has not played any test match in Australia. Due to which Rahim said, 'Playing Test against Australia in Australia has always been a big dream.'

Mushfiqur Rahim further said, 'I don't know whether I will be alive tomorrow or not. But it would be great if I could go to Australia and play Tests. Because, I have never played in Australia. Along with this, he stressed that this time his team is in a better position because they have a strong line-up of fast bowlers. Mushfiqur Rahim said that apart from speedsters like Nahid Rana, they have 8-10 fast bowlers including Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam. He expressed hope that everyone will remain fit and perform well.

Playing test cricket for almost 21 years

Mushfiqur Rahim has played 101 test matches for Bangladesh so far. His test career has spanned almost 21 years. Now Mushfiqur Rahim has become the owner of the second longest Test career among Asian players. Only the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar is ahead of him. Sachin Tendulkar's Test career lasted 24 years and 1 day.
