Batting first after losing the toss, KKR posted a competitive total of 192 runs in 20 overs. Devdutt Padikkal supported Virat Kohli with a steady 39 off 27 balls as RCB crossed the 100-run mark comfortably.

Despite the breakthrough, Virat Kohli remained in complete control. Rajat Patidar added 11 runs before Sunil Narine dismissed him but the former RCB captain continued attacking and eventually completed his historic ninth IPL century.

Virat Kohli stayed unbeaten on 105 off just 60 balls and guided Royal Challengers Bengaluru to victory in 19.1 overs with five balls remaining.
