New Delhi, 15 May. After the increase in the prices of petrol, diesel and CNG across the country, the Congress Party has launched a major attack on the Central Government. Congress said that the government has started recovery after the elections are over. Party leaders said that due to increase in oil prices, inflation is also certain to increase. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh posted on social media platform
He further wrote, “Now that international oil prices are rising due to the war waged in West Asia by the Prime Minister’s close friends America and Israel and the assembly elections have also ended, the government, after first increasing the prices of commercial LPG, has now increased the prices of petrol and diesel as well. This is sure to increase inflation further, which is now estimated to reach around 6 percent in this financial year. The growth rate projections will also be significantly reduced.”
At the same time, the Congress Party posted from the official ‘ Let us tell you that the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased by more than three rupees across the country, while the prices of CNG have increased by Rs 2. According to the new rate, the price of petrol in Delhi has been increased by Rs 3.14 per liter to Rs 97.77, while diesel has become costlier by Rs 3.11 to Rs 90.67 per liter. At the same time, the new rate of CNG in Delhi has become Rs 79.09 per kg.
