The UK's Eurovision 2026 entry has been dealt a crushing blow just hours before the live final. The final will be held in Vienna on Saturday night and will see 25 countries perform in their bid to be crowned the Eurovision 2026 and 70th edition champion.

Look Mum No Computer, aka Sam Battle, will also be representing the UK with their song Eins, Zwei, Drei. Currently, Finland is the frontrunner to win the contest; however, things are not looking good for the UK's entry.

According to BOYLE Sports, the UK has been given odds of 100/1 of winning the 2026 contest. They have odds of 11/2 to finish in the top 10 and 40/1 to be in the top five acts.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BOYLE Sports, said: "Eurovision wouldn't be Eurovision without the UK arriving with big dreams, bold staging and a loyal fanbase hoping this might finally be their year.

"But the latest odds suggest the UK faces a real uphill battle, which will take some of the shine off Sam Battle's chances. At 11/2 to make the top 10, there's still a route to a respectable finish if the performance lands, but 100/1 to win tells its own story - it would take a major Eurovision shock for the UK to trouble the top of the leader board now."

Meanwhile, Finland seems to be the current frontrunner to win the 2026 content with odds of 11/10. Greece follows close behind at 4/1, with Denmark in third place at 11/2.

Ahead of the final, Look Mum No Computer has completed its first rehearsal on the Wiener Stadthalle stage.

Producers of Eurovision, the EBU, said about the performance, "For his performance on the Eurovision stage, Look Mum No Computer is decked out in his trademark boiler suit, which has had something of a glow up, with a hint of functional fashion. It's dusky pink in colour with silver zips, and the look is completed with Doc Marten boots for him to stomp around the Wiener Stadthalle stage in."

Shortly after his rehearsal, Look Mum No Computer said, "We're finally here in Vienna! It was such an incredible feeling stepping onto that mahoosive stage and rehearsing Eins, Zwei, Drei for the first time at the arena.

"We're making sure we practise and practise to get all the elements right, and I can't wait to show the world what we have up our sleeves and put all the months of hard work into practice in front of a packed-out crowd. Here we go!"

This year's BBC line-up for Eurovision includes Graham Norton, Rylan Clark, Sara Cox, and Angela Scanlon. Meanwhile, Drag Race UK winner Tia Kofi will be getting all the backstage gossip for the BBC's digital channels.

Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final 2026 airs on Saturday at 8pm.
