The English all-rounder currently holds the position of CSK's second-best wicket taker for this season after he acquired 14 wickets at an average of 17.78 with an economy rate of 8.89. He also won the Player of the Match award for his figures of 3 for 36 in CSK’s previous five-wicket win over LSG on May 11.
The CSK team signed Karnataka all-rounder Macneil Noronha to replace their injured pacer Ramakrishna Ghosh who suffered a broken foot during his debut match in the IPL just hours before the Overton update.
