Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has briefed the media on the latest developments regarding NEET-UG 2026, confirming that the examination will now be conducted on June 21.
Addressing concerns of students and parents, the Minister said that after the exam was held on May 3, objections were raised on May 7, following which the government initiated an inquiry. He added that by May 12, investigations indicated that the question paper had been leaked under the guise of a “guess paper” racket.
“We do not want injustice to be done to deserving students,” the Minister said, emphasizing that the government is committed to ensuring fairness and transparency in the examination process.
