Politics News- After Modi ji’s appeal, UP ministers will travel by metro, bus, e-rickshaw, CM Yogi gave instructions

Friends, there is a stir all over the world due to the ongoing dispute in the Middle East, due to which Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the countrymen to use public transport and save petrol and diesel, meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a strong message, in which he has promoted a new administrative work culture. This culture focuses on frugality, energy conservation and responsible public conduct. Their objective is to make the state government more disciplined, accountable and efficient in terms of resources.

Emphasizing the importance of fuel conservation in view of the current global situation, CM Yogi said that reducing consumption of petrol and diesel is not only an economic necessity but also a national responsibility. He stressed that the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet itself should set an example before the public.

Main instructions issued by CM Yogi Adityanath:

Ministers have been instructed to use public transport at least one day every week.

The Chief Minister also directed ministers to reduce their vehicle fleet by 50 percent.

All ministers and senior officials have been advised to avoid foreign travel for the next six months unless it is absolutely necessary.

Emphasis was laid on adopting digital and hybrid working systems within the government.

Ministers encouraged to use public transport

CM Yogi directed ministers to travel by public and eco-friendly modes of transport, such as:

metro services

public buses

e-rickshaw

carpooling

bicycles

According to the Chief Minister, this initiative will not only reduce fuel consumption but will also send a positive message to the society and encourage citizens to adopt sustainable modes of transportation.

Emphasis on hybrid meetings and ‘work from home’

To increase administrative efficiency and reduce unnecessary travel, the Chief Minister directed that meetings between districts, training sessions and meetings of the Standing Committees of the Assembly and Legislative Council, wherever possible, should be held in hybrid mode.

Additionally, organizations with more than 50 employees have been advised to implement ‘work from home’ arrangements for at least two days a week.
