Inter Milan completed a historic domestic double by defeating Lazio 2-0 to win the Coppa Italia final.
Having already clinched the Serie A title earlier this month, Inter secured their 10th Coppa Italia crown with goals from an own goal forced by Marcus Thuram and a close-range finish by Lautaro Martinez. Denzel Dumfries provided the assist for the second goal as the Nerazzurri dominated the contest.
Inter manager Cristian Chivu praised his team’s consistency and resilience throughout the season, calling the achievement special. The victory capped off one of the most successful domestic campaigns in Inter’s recent history.
