Educational Requirements

Position Title	Eligibility Criteria
Junior Hindi Translator (JTO) in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS)	Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Hindi or English with the other as a compulsory subject, or a Master's Degree in any subject with English as the medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject, along with a recognized diploma in translation or two years of experience.
Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ)	Eligibility criteria are the same as for the JTO in CSOLS.
Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)/ Junior Translation Officer (JTO)/ Junior Translator (JT) in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations	Eligibility criteria are the same as for the JTO in CSOLS.
Senior Hindi Translator (SHT)/Senior Translator (ST) in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations	Candidates must have a Master's Degree in Hindi or English with the other as a compulsory subject, or a Master's Degree in any subject with English as the medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject, along with a recognized diploma in translation or three years of experience.
