New Delhi: Air India on Wednesday announced a major rationalization of its international flight network, temporarily suspending several overseas routes and reducing frequencies on many others between June and August.
The airline said the move was necessary to maintain operational stability amid continuing airspace restrictions and rising aviation fuel costs.
According to the carrier, flight durations on certain routes have increased because of restricted air corridors in multiple regions, significantly raising operational expenses.
