Public sector State Bank of India has announced recruitment for Specialist Cadre Officer posts (SBI Recruitment 2026). The application process for which has started from May 13. Eligible candidates can visit the official website of SBI till 2nd June 2026. You can apply by visiting. Notification to the vacancy has also been issued. It is advised to fill the form only after reading it.
Total number of vacancies is 100. The vacancy is divided into different categories. There are 38 vacancies for General, 8 for EWS, 22 for OBC, 18 for ST and 14 for SC. Whereas the number of vacancies for PwBD candidates is 13. Selected candidates will be appointed in Hyderabad and Kolkata.
To apply, General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 750. SC, ST and PWD candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
To apply, it is mandatory for the candidates to be a graduate in any field from a recognized university or institute. Apart from this, they should also have a certificate in Forex Operation from IIBF. Documentary Credit Specialist Certification/Trade Finance or International Banking Certificate holders can also apply. The date of issue of the degree or certificate should be on or before April 30, 2026.
It is also mandatory to have at least 2 years of experience in any scheduled commercial bank in a supervisory or official role in trade finance. The prescribed age limit is minimum 23 years and maximum 32 years.
Selection Process and Salary
Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview, which will be held tomorrow for 100 marks. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of qualification and experience entered in the application. After this they will be invited for interview. The call letter will be released through email or on the official website. Hard copy of admit card will not be sent.
The probation period after appointment will be 6 months. The pay scale will be minimum Rs 64820 and maximum Rs 93,960. Apart from this, candidates will also get the benefit of various facilities including DA, HRA, Provident Fund, Contributory Pension Fund, Medical Facility.
