Meghan Markle has carried on her frenzied posting just hours before Princess Catherine arrived in Italy for her first major overseas trip since her cancer diagnosis. On Monday, the Duchess of Sussex posted a new promotional video on Instagram for her lifestyle brand, As Ever, which coincided with a major rebrand of her website.

Yesterday, she posted a series of new pictures of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who visited Disneyland again this year alongside her husband, Prince Harry. On Tuesday evening, just hours before the Princess of Wales began her two-day trip to Reggio Emilia, the Duchess sent a fresh newsletter to her As Ever fans, welcoming them to "the world of As Ever".

Meghan said in a message, which closely mirrored her initial post on Instagram on Monday: "What began with fruit from Meghan's garden, simmered into preserves in her home kitchen, has inspired our curated collections to bring surprise and delight to your everyday."

She then listed a number of products available to purchase on the As Ever website, including the Signature Candle Collection and the Complete As Ever Pantry, featuring spreads, teas, candles and spice kits.

The newsletter featured a short clip of the original video she posted on her social media and website.

The video showed Meghan putting a raspberry in her mouth, arranging a basket of flowers, sitting on a kitchen counter, opening up a jar of fruit spread and placing a bookmark in a book.

Other footage showed the Duchess drizzling honey and walking through an orchard.

It comes as the Princess of Wales received a rapturous welcome in Italy, travelling to Reggio Emilia for her two-day visit, her first overseas trip in three and a half years.

Catherine was welcomed to Reggio Emilia by the city's mayor, Marco Massari, as she began her working trip with her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

The visit attracted hundreds of locals to the city's Piazza Prampolini.
