One person died while another was seriously injured in a head-on collision between a Bolero and a bike in the Lalganj police station area of ​​Mirzapur late on Tuesday night. The accident happened near Patar Kala on Lalganj Kalwari Road.

Both the bike riders were seriously injured after the collision. As soon as the information was received, police and local villagers reached the spot and took the injured to the Community Health Center, Lalganj. After first aid, the doctors referred both of them to Mirzapur Drama Center for better treatment.

65 year old Awadhesh son Balnath died late night during treatment at Mirzapur Drama Centre. The deceased were residents of Medhra village of Lalganj area. Whereas seriously injured 25-year-old Pankaj, son of Kamlesh, was referred to Drama Center Varanasi as his condition became critical.

According to the information received, Awadhesh and Pankaj were going to Banki village in a marriage procession due to their relatives. Then an accident happened on the way. As soon as the information about the incident was received, there was an uproar in the family. The police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The Bolero and the bike were taken into custody and parked at Kalan Chowki again.
