4. Eating quickly
In today’s hustle and bustle, people eat quickly. Not chewing food properly affects digestion and leads to gas formation.
5. Lying down immediately after eating food
Sleeping or lying down immediately after eating food is a major cause of acid reflux. This causes stomach acid to rise and cause heartburn.
6. Stress and lack of sleep
Stress and less sleep also have a direct impact on stomach health. Stress hormones spoil the digestion process, which increases the problem of acidity and stomach pain.
