There is a wave of mourning in the political and social world due to the demise of Prateek Yadav, brother of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and husband of Aparna Yadav. 38-year-old Prateek Yadav was ill for the last several days. When his health deteriorated on Wednesday morning, he was brought to the Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Prateek Yadav stayed away from politics, but was well known as a businessman, fitness lover and animal lover. He also created an organization named 'Jeeva Ashray' for the care of street dogs. Prateek was the son of Mulayam Singh Yadav from his second wife Sadhna Gupta.
