
New Delhi. Amid the energy crisis created across the world due to tension between Iran and America, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Europe and UAE from 15th to 20th May. According to the information, during this visit he can sign many agreements regarding increasing energy cooperation and trade. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will stop in UAE and Italy. Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi will also visit Netherlands, Sweden and Norway. He will first reach UAE on 15th May and will meet President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
What issues will be in focus?
During his visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will discuss energy cooperation and regional and international issues with global leaders. Furthermore, discussions will also focus on enhancing cultural, economic, and political partnerships with European countries. According to reports, increasing trade and investment between all countries will also be discussed during the visit.
Visit after UAE:
Let us tell you that UAE is a major energy partner of India. Apart from this, it is also the seventh largest source of investment for India. More than 45 lakh Indians also live here. After UAE, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Netherlands and will meet PM Rob Zetten. He will be on an official visit to Netherlands till 17th May. After this, on the invitation of Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristners, he will reach Gothenburg, Sweden from 17th to 18th May. In the fourth leg, the Prime Minister will reach Norway and will participate in the India-Nordic Summit. This will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Norway after the year 1983.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting the Netherlands for the second time. There, he will meet with Prime Minister Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima. During this visit, PM Modi will discuss advancing matters to defense, green hydrogen, semiconductors, and innovation. In the final leg of his visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Italy and meet with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Modi’s visit will further strengthen the momentum of high-level meetings and close cooperation in various areas, including defence, security, innovation, green hydrogen, semiconductors and strategic partnership on water. The ministry said his visit will provide an opportunity to further deepen and expand the multifaceted partnership. In their talks, the two sides will focus on promoting bilateral relations in areas such as green transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), emerging technologies, startups, resilient supply chains, defence, space, people-to-people ties and climate change.
