Taking seriously the complaints received in the public hearing, District Magistrate Charchal Gaur directed to take immediate action against the concerned officers with the aim of ensuring transparency and accountability in the administrative functioning. The District Magistrate said that irregularities and negligence towards public problems will not be accepted at any level.
During the public hearing, Shiv Kumar, son of Bandhu, resident of village Kusahi, Kekrahi, presented an application before the District Magistrate alleging that during the consolidation process being conducted in the village, money is being demanded by the head and consolidation accountant in the name of placing the wheel at the right place.
Taking the complaint very seriously, the District Magistrate directed the Settlement Officer Chakbandi to immediately investigate and ensure action. In compliance with the instructions of the District Magistrate, Consolidation Accountant Rohit Tiwari was attached to the Assistant Consolidation Officer, Robertsganj II office with immediate effect by the Settlement Officer Consolidation.
In the same sequence, the District Magistrate also took serious cognizance of the complaint made by the women of the self-help group. It was alleged in the complaint that irregularities and financial irregularities were being committed by Block Mission Manager Pradeep Kumar Jaiswal in collaboration with CLF book keeper Pooja. This complaint was received through IGRS portal, on which instructions were given by the District Magistrate for immediate investigation.
As per the instructions of the District Magistrate, a joint investigation was conducted by the District Development Officer and Block Development Officer. During investigation, the fact came to light that Block Mission Manager Pradeep Kumar Jaiswal was not discharging his official responsibilities properly and his functioning was found suspicious.
On the basis of the investigation report, action was taken by the Deputy Commissioner of Self Employment to attach Pradeep Kumar Jaiswal to the District Mission Management Unit with immediate effect. District Magistrate Charchal Gaur directed the officers to ensure quality and timely disposal of every complaint received in the public hearing.
