It contains rich amounts of monounsaturated fatty acids, which help in reducing bad cholesterol and increasing good cholesterol in the body. Its regular consumption reduces the risk of heart diseases. Peanuts contain important elements like calcium, iron, potassium, selenium, zinc and copper, which prevent blood loss and strengthen bones.
Peanuts are rich in Vitamin A, which is beneficial for the health of skin, hair and eyes. It is also an excellent source of protein, the amino acids present in which help in keeping the body strong and are helpful in the development of children.
