(On the surface helping the team batting second) “Ah, little bit yes. There are always different variables to it. There has been a couple of occasions where the team bowling second have bowled them out pretty cheaply as well. It’s still bit of a gut feel. I can’t read the pitch perfectly.”

“Ah, not really. I think we have kind of have the right to give ourselves few chances before we make it to the Final. We have got three games left. We haven’t played for quite a while now. GT, too haven’t played for a while. Should be a good game,” concluded Pat Cummins.

GT captain Shubman Gill said, “I am not the one about stats. We were also looking to bowl first but this looks like a better wicket than what we have played in the season on this wicket.”

(on the mindset) “It’s all about being consistent with your thought process and execution as much as possible. This is the business end of the tournament and it is important to bring your A-game and play your best. Same team,” concluded Shubman Gill.
