During the ongoing IPL 2026 season, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, a young star for the Rajasthan Royals (RR), showcased his playful side by stepping into the kitchen for a fun cooking session. Known for his aggressive batting style, the 15-year-old has quickly become a pivotal player for the team this season.


Record-Breaking Performance

Since his debut in the last IPL season, Sooryavanshi has made headlines by breaking numerous records, demonstrating that talent knows no age. In this season alone, he has achieved remarkable feats, including becoming the youngest player to score 400 runs in a single season, the fastest to hit 100 T20 sixes, and the first to score two centuries before turning sixteen.


A Fun Cooking Session

To relieve the stress of competitive matches, the Rajasthan Royals engaged in a light-hearted cooking activity, with Sooryavanshi taking center stage as he attempted to make 'Gol Roti.' In a video shared by the franchise on X (formerly Twitter), he confidently rolled out the dough, humorously claiming his roti was 'rounder than his mother's.'


Despite a minor mishap where he dropped the roti on the floor while toasting it, he maintained his cheerful demeanor, insisting on being called 'MasterChef Vaibhav.'



Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's IPL 2026 Performance

Sooryavanshi has emerged as a key player in IPL 2026, following a successful debut season. In his first five matches, he scored 52, 31, 39, 78, and 0, totaling 200 runs with an average of 40 and a strike rate of 202.20. His explosive starts have been crucial in securing victories for RR.


In the subsequent six matches, he added scores of 46, 8, 103, 43, 4, and 36, bringing his total to 240 runs at an average of 40.00 and a strike rate of 228.57. Overall, he leads the RR with 440 runs, including a century and two fifties, maintaining an impressive strike rate of 236.56 across 11 matches.
