Once again a big day was seen in the politics of Assam, when Himanta Biswa Sarma took oath as the Chief Minister for the second time. As soon as he said “Main Himanta Biswa Sarma…” at the swearing-in ceremony, the entire ground echoed with slogans and applause. A huge crowd of BJP leaders, workers and thousands of supporters was seen at the function. On this occasion, Himanta reiterated his resolve to continuously work for the development, peace and progress of Assam.
