Tamil Nadu Govt Shut Down 717 Liquor Shops: Joseph Vijay has come into action mode immediately after taking oath as CM. Vijay’s government has recently taken a big decision regarding the sale of liquor. Due to this many liquor shops will be locked. Along with this, efforts have also been made to provide relief to the general public regarding electricity.

There are many liquor shops in the state which are very close to temples, mosques, schools and bus stands. Now Vijay Sarkar has turned a blind eye on these shops. Vijay has ordered the closure of all these shops. If this happens then 717 shops in the state will be locked.

717 liquor shops will be locked

Recently the Tamil Nadu government has issued a press note. According to this, there are 717 shops which are less than 500 meters away from temple-mosque, school-college and bus stands. All these shops have been ordered to be closed within two weeks. Of these, 276 shops are near temples and mosques, 186 are near educational institutions and 255 shops are near bus stands.

This decision has come immediately after taking it from the government. Since then there has been a stir in the department. The government’s objective is clear that necessary social reform measures should be implemented immediately. This will also help in controlling the unrest in the areas.

Vijay government will also provide 200 units of electricity free of cost

After assuming the chair of CM, one of the important decisions is to provide free electricity to the people of the state. Vijay’s government has announced that 200 units of free electricity will be given to all the people of Tamil Nadu. Along with this, Vijay has also approved the formation of a special force for the safety of women. Vijay has also started cracking down on the growing drug trade. To stop drug abuse, Vijay has also announced the formation of anti-drug units.

In his first address after his swearing-in, Vijay said, “I have to tell you all about the current situation of the Tamil Nadu government. The state has a debt of more than Rs 10 lakh crore and the treasury is completely empty. This has put an unbearable burden on the state.”
