Sunil Pal:Comedian Sunil Pal was recently seen in The Great Indian Kapil Show. Comedian Samay Raina and YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia were also seen with him in the show. There was a lot of discussion on social media after the episode went on air and many viewers claimed that Sunil Pal was made fun of in the show. Now recently, Sunil Pal made a big allegation against the makers and team of the show and said that he was targeted in the show.

‘I was not told that Samay and Ranveer would also come’
Sunil told in a recent interview that he was not informed in advance that Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia would also be included in the episode. He said, “I had no idea the times would be there. I was told that there will be stand-up comedians in the episode and they will also probably be there. I was only asked to do stand-up segments, not even interviews. I had also prepared a 15-minute sketch and director Anukul had given it the final shape. After reaching there I came to know that both of them were also there. I didn’t get a chance to do my stand-up act. They also cut some of my jokes.”

‘I was surrounded like Abhimanyu’
The comedian further claimed that the reactions he received on set made him feel as if he was ostracized. He said, “People rightly saw that everything had become one-sided. Like Abhimanyu, I was surrounded. Many people also noticed that people were deliberately not laughing at my jokes and were reacting even to the smallest of jokes at the time.”

Questions were also raised on the reaction of Sidhu and Archana
Sunil also raised questions about the reactions of the show’s judges Navjot Singh Sidhu and Archana Puran Singh. He said that Sidhu, who has been listening to comedy for years, was reacting very enthusiastically even to Samay Raina’s short jokes. Regarding Archana, he jokingly said that if she did not laugh at anything, then something different was definitely going on.

It is noteworthy that in the year 2025, Samay Raina had come into controversy regarding his show India’s Got Latent. A big controversy had arisen over Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks in an episode of the show, after which an FIR was even registered.

During that time, Sunil Pal had openly criticized Samay Raina and even called him a “terrorist”. Later, Samay also took a dig at Sunil in his comedy special “Still Alive”.
