During the match played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the figure of 1000 sixes was crossed in just 53 matches this season, which is considered to be the fastest achievement in the history of IPL.

This match was played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, where complete dominance of the batsmen was seen. According to reports, the figure of sixes had never been reached at such a fast pace before in this season. Earlier this record was made in the 2024 season, when 1000 sixes were completed in 57 matches, but 2026 left that too behind.
