During the annual Business Summit 2026 organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry in New Delhi, Gautam Adani emphasized that the global economy is entering a new phase where strategic advantages will hinge on the control of energy and intelligence infrastructure.
He remarked, "Semiconductors have now become integral to state policy. Data is being regarded as a national resource. Clouds have turned into weapons. Artificial intelligence is being developed to secure data centers."
Adani further stated, "Countries that maintain control over their energy will empower their industrial futures. Those who dominate computing will enhance their intelligence prospects. The nation that masters both will shape the coming century."
He also highlighted the opportunities in India, noting that the country is investing in sectors with existing demand, including manufacturing, mobility, logistics, digital services, and the consumer market.
According to him, AI is not merely software; it represents a comprehensive economic framework based on energy, computing, networks, chips, data centers, applications, and talent.
Reflecting on his journey, Adani shared, "I have built in places that many deemed impossible, such as ports in deserts and power projects in darkness."
He asserted, "The future does not arrive on its own; it must be created. The next struggle for freedom will be fought in our grids, data centers, factories, classrooms, labs, and minds."
