UPI Payment Without Internet: UPI payment has become an important part of our everyday life. Be it buying vegetables or paying electricity bill, now everywhere one needs to scan QR Code to make payment. But people have become so dependent on this technology that they face problems due to lack of mobile internet, weak network or lack of smartphone nearby. Due to which most people assume that it is impossible to make digital payments. But this is not true, very few people know that you can easily make UPI payment even without internet and smartphone. In which NPCI has provided many special facilities.

Make immediate payment through IVR call

If for any reason there is no internet on your phone, then you can complete the UPI payment through IVR i.e. Interactive Voice Response service. For which you will have to call 08045163666, 08045163581 or 6366200200. When the call is connected to this number, select your language and follow the given steps. With which you can send money, check balance and also use other UPI services. To complete the transaction in this way, you just have to enter the UPI PIN and your work is done.

Payment will be made only by missed call

Internet is not necessary to complete digital payments. There are many shops and merchant outlets where special numbers are given. With which you can complete the payment by just giving a missed call. Let us tell you that as soon as you make a missed call on that number, you will get an automatic call back. After this you have to confirm the payment amount and enter the UPI PIN. The transaction is completed as soon as the PIN is entered. This method has been specially designed for villages and feature phone users.

UPI is running in feature phones also

If you are one of those people who do not use a smartphone but uses a simple keypad phone, you can still use UPI easily. For this, companies have launched such feature phones which are specially designed to use UPI app and digital payment system. To use it in your daily life, you will first have to link your mobile number and bank account. After OTP verification and setting UPI PIN, the user can easily send and receive money. Features like Scan and Pay are also included in some feature phones.

In the ongoing Digital India initiative in the country, these facilities are a big relief for crores of people who are not able to use smartphones or fast internet.
