The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is set to release the results for the Class 10 examination (2026) today. The Board will declare the results at 12:30 PM, after which students will be able to check their scores by visiting the official website, pseb.ac.in. This year, approximately 2.8 lakh students appeared for the examination, and all are eagerly awaiting the results. Students will be able to check their results using their roll numbers and names. Before the results, the Board has also released a helpline number so that students can seek assistance in case they encounter any difficulties. Additionally, students have been advised not to be disheartened if they receive low marks.

Similar to the previous year, lakhs of students have participated in the examination this time as well. Last year, the Board's overall pass percentage stood at 95.61%, with girls outperforming boys.

**33% Marks Mandatory in Every Subject**
To pass the PSEB Class 10 examination, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. It is mandatory to pass separately in both the theory examination and the internal assessment—not just based on the aggregate score. The Board examination carries a total weightage of 650 marks. For each subject, 80 marks are allotted for the written examination, while 20 marks are designated for internal assessment.

**Board Releases Helpline Number**
Ahead of the result declaration, Board Chairman Dr. Amarpal Singh has released a helpline number—9549-161-161—for the students. The Board has appealed to students not to panic if they receive low marks or happen to fail, noting that there are numerous opportunities for improvement in the future.
