This year’s Mother’s Day was filled with deep pain and tears, rather than joy, for Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly. The actress shared an emotional video on social media, in which she is seen sobbing while sitting on the grave of her late son, Shamsher. Along with the video, she wrote a long note, leveling serious allegations against her husband, Peter Haag, including mental harassment, alienating her children, and brainwashing them.
15 years of marriage and the end of ‘deception’
Celina recounted her ordeal, revealing that she had given up her country, her parents, and her Bollywood career for the sake of her husband’s career and family. She lived and raised her children in countries like Dubai, Singapore, and Austria. But today, she isn’t even allowed to speak to her own children. The actress alleges that her husband even fraudulently served her with a divorce notice. She thought she was going to receive a gift on their 15th wedding anniversary, but instead was handed divorce papers.
Accused of radicalizing children
The most shocking claim Selena made in her post is that her three surviving children have been taken to a secret location by their father and grandfather. According to the actress, the children are being instigated against their mother and their Hindu religion and attempts are being made to radicalize them. Despite an Austrian court order, Selena is being prevented from meeting or communicating with the children.
Peace was found only at the grave of the deceased son
In the video shared, Selina is seen sitting near the grave of her late son Shamsher in Austria. She wrote, “Despite assurances in court, my surviving children were not allowed to meet me. The only child I was able to hold in my lap was my departed angel, Shamsher.” For Selina, this Mother’s Day has become a symbol not just of the joys of motherhood, but of a long fight for justice.
Legal action and return to India
The matter has now taken a legal turn. Based on the actress’s complaint, Mumbai Police have registered an FIR against Peter Haag under charges of domestic violence, cruelty, and criminal intimidation. The police have also issued a lookout circular (LOC) against him.
Celina concluded her note by calling herself the daughter of “Maa Kali and Durga,” vowing to return to India to protect her children, her dignity, and the truth. She clarified that she will now fight this injustice with all her might.
