Tehran: Iran has submitted its response to the latest US proposal aimed at ending the regional conflict and ensuring maritime security, the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) reported on Sunday.
According to the report, the response was delivered to the Pakistani mediator after Tehran completed internal expert-level reviews of the American framework, which was drafted in reaction to Iran’s earlier 14-point proposal.

ISNA said Iran’s response primarily focuses on the “immediate cessation of the war” and the “restoration of maritime security” in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
The report added that the current phase of negotiations remains limited to discussions on ending hostilities and resolving the broader regional crisis, with diplomatic efforts intensifying to stabilise maritime routes and prevent further escalation.
