The only difference is that in this season it is considered better to use light and natural moisturizers.
Why Skin Needs Moisturizer in Summer
Many people think that in summer the skin is not as dry as in winter, hence there is no need for moisturizer. But this thinking is wrong. Skin even in summer:
- may get dehydrated
- May be a victim of sun damage
- may appear dry and lifeless
- Can produce more oil
When the skin does not get enough moisture, it starts producing more oil. Therefore it is important to use a light moisturizer.
Ingredients For DIY Summer Moisturizer
To make this easy summer moisturizer you will need:
- 2 teaspoon aloe vera gel
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1 Vitamin E Capsule
- 4–5 drops almond oil or coconut oil
- A few drops of cucumber juice (optional)
How to Prepare DIY Summer Moisturizer
- First of all take a clean bowl.
- Add 2 spoons of aloe vera gel in it.
- Now add 1 teaspoon rose water.
- Cut 1 Vitamin E capsule and add its oil to the mixture.
- Add 4–5 drops of almond oil or coconut oil.
- If you want, you can also add a few drops of cucumber juice.
- Mix everything well.
- Store the prepared moisturizer in an airtight container.
- Clean the face and apply it gently.
How to Use DIY Summer Moisturizer
- First of all clean the face thoroughly.
- Apply moisturizer gently on face and neck.
- Massage gently in circular motion.
- It can be used 1 to 2 times a day.

Precautions
- Before using any new ingredient, do a patch test.
- Do not use too much oil, it may make the skin oily.
- Always keep moisturizer in a clean container.
- If you feel irritation or itching on the skin, stop using it immediately.
- Do not use expired or spoiled ingredients.
- Avoid applying moisturizer too close to the eyes.
- Be sure to apply sunscreen while going out during the day.
- Moisturizer Do not store without refrigeration for a long time.
