Even though the 2026 Met Gala is over, it seems that the rage surrounding the ceremony might take a bit more time to die down. For those unaware, the Met took place on May 4, 2026. The event featured several Indian celebrities, including Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Ananya Birla, and Sudha Reddy. Well, recently Lucknow-born actor, Pranay Pachauri and his wife, Sehaj Kaur Maini, brought the event's touches straight to India with a Met Gala-inspired photoshoot.

A while ago, Sehaj Kaur Maini took to her Instagram handle to share a set of photos featuring her and her husband,  In the joint post with Pranay, the couple can be seen looking stunning in a Met Gala-inspired photoshoot. The photos scream royal elegance with Sehaj wearing a gorgeous lehenga choli. She can be seen wearing a golden-coloured corset-style sleeveless blouse with heavy embellishments. The lehenga skirt, on the other hand, was devoid of embellishments but featured equally eye-catching peacock, deer, and floral motifs throughout.

Sehaj completed her outfit with a white dupatta that paired beautifully with the lehenga. Turning to her jewellery, Sehaj wore a golden choker-style necklace, a big naath, and matching bangles on both wrists. In one of the pictures where Sehaj and Pranay are seen holding hands, she also holds a sparkly clutch, adding another element to her outfit. Well, she let the outfit do all the talking, keeping her makeup on the minimal side. Same with her hair; she kept it sleek and straight and open.

Coming to her husband, Pranay, he wore a white sherwani with golden buttons and grey trousers. The actor did not forget to accessorise either, as an eye-catching golden brooch was on his chest. A maroon handkerchief can also be seen nearly folded and slightly peaking out of his pocket, giving his outfit just the slight touch of colour that it needed. Overall, Pranay and Sehaj's outfits meshed incredibly well together, making for some truly beautiful pictures.

It is worth noting that Pranay and Sehaj held their Met Gala-inspired photoshoot at The Leela Palace Udaipur, which added to the grandeur of the pictures. While some of the pictures were taken outside with the water in the background, others were taken indoors. All of their pictures highlighted just how much the couple love each other, as they can be seen holding hands and gazing at each other lovingly. Sehaj aptly captioned the pictures, “Did somebody say Met Gala?”

No sooner did Sehaj and Pranay make the joint post than fans began reacting to it. The majority of social media users, impressed by the Met Gala-inspired photoshoot, showered them with love. One user who found the pictures unbelievable wrote, “My first thought was -Ai.” Another wrote, “Soooo pretty,” followed by a red heart emoji. Another comment read, “So soooo beautiful and dreamy.” Mirroring a similar sentiment, another user wrote, “Bro!! No way! You guys look ethereal.” One fan wrote, “Adorable and the cutest couple.”

From when they were still dating, Sehaj, an avid social media user, used to post several cutesy pictures with The Kerala Story actor, Pranay. For instance, on January 28, 2023, the screenwriter shared a photo of herself and Pranay at a cafe. In the picture, Sehaj is seen wearing a denim shirt and black sunglasses. On the other hand, Pranay kept things simple by opting for a white t-shirt. The duo tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony later that year, on December 9, 2023.

For those unaware, Pranay has appeared in popular movies and web series such as Tere Kiye Bro, Karm Yuddh, Crash Course, and Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. Meanwhile, Sehaj is known for her work in series like Please Find Attached, Half Empty, and Full Might, among others.
