TVK has more than majority in Tamil Nadu, know which parties are supporting

New Delhi. Since the results of the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, there is a lot of suspense regarding government formation. In the election results, TVK won the maximum 108 seats. Now TVK has to struggle to form the government. Actually, to form the government, there should be support of 118 MLAs. However, other parties including Congress, CPI, CPI(M) have extended their support to TVK, after which the way has been cleared for government formation there. TVK chief Vijay has now reached to meet the Governor with a letter of support from the MLAs.

Know which parties supported TVK
TVK – TVK had emerged as the largest party in Tamil Nadu elections. TVK had won 118 seats.
Congress – Five Congress MLAs had won, who have extended their support to TVK.
CPI – Communist Party of India has 2 MLAs, who have given their support to TVK.
CPI(M) – Marxist Communist Party has submitted a letter of support to TVK. They have 2 MLAs.
VCK -Thole. This party led by Thirumavalavan has given the letter of support of its 2 MLAs to TVK.
iuml – Two MLAs of this party have also given their support. Since then the majority number has now reached 121.

Congress targeted BJP
Congress has launched a major attack on BJP over the delay in taking oath in Tamil Nadu. State President of Congress K. Selvaperunthagai has expressed strong objection. He appealed to the Governor to save democracy by following the Constitution. Selvaperunthagai questioned why the TVK chief was not being invited to become the Chief Minister despite having the full support of 120 MLAs. He directly alleged that BJP’s politics is behind this delay.
