Princess Catherine spoke about her new puppy, Otto, during her latest appearance this week. The Princess of Wales and her husband, the Prince of Wales, hosted the second party of the season at Buckingham Palace on behalf of the King on Friday.
Catherine looked stunning in a white and black ensemble. She paired itwith pearl jewellery from the late Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana. The Princess of Wales also shared details about the family's one-year-old puppy Otto, admitting he had "unfortunately" been "chewing quite a lot the other day".
William and Catherine met guests from a number of their patronages, military affiliations and passion projects, including Homewards and tenants across the Duchy of Cornwall sites.
Catherine spoke with various guests at the party, telling one that her new puppy "chewed quite a lot the other day".
She said: "You have to keep them busy. The first thing we do in the morning is check, 'Has anyone taken Otto out?'"
Otto made headlines earlier this month when he turned one and William and Catherine shared a new photo of him on social media.
Otto is Orla's son, from the litter she gave birth to last year and who the Waleses kept.
Alongside the picture, Catherine and William wrote: "Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today."
The future Queen dazzled in a white Self-Portrait dress with black trim and a colour-matching vintage hat.
Catherine paired her look with pearl jewellery belonging to the late Queen and Princess Diana.
The Waleses were joined by other royals, including Zara Tindall and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
