New Delhi. Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, reacting to the arrest of Punjab Minister Sanjeev Arora by ED, has targeted the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bhagwant Mann government. Raghav Chadha said that by showing the dream of making Punjab ‘Rangla’, Aam Aadmi Party has made the treasury of Punjab ‘Kangla’. The people of Punjab had given majority to AAP to run the government with great expectation. This majority was not to loot Punjab. The information that is coming in now is that during the ED raid, an amount of Rs 21 lakh was thrown from the balcony, fake GST billing of Rs 100 crore was done, this is a big fraud on the people of Punjab.
Raghav said, I had said earlier also that Aam Aadmi Party is now completely trapped in the hands of corrupt people. When we tried to raise these issues within the party, we were silenced. The things that are coming out today are shocking. When the house of a Punjab government minister was raided, an amount of Rs 21 lakh was thrown down from the 9th floor. Just imagine, if this amount had been earned through hard work and honesty, would anyone have thrown that amount like this? No person throws away even 21 rupees for honesty.
The Rajya Sabha MP said that the issue of money laundering is also coming to the fore in the documents that are coming out. This is the biggest fraud on the people of Punjab, the biggest loot. The Punjab government has a debt of Rs 5 lakh crore and the AAP government of Punjab is looting the state treasury. The investigating agencies will definitely take action in this but the real action will be taken by the people of Punjab in the elections to be held next year.
