Knews Desk– A big change has been seen in the politics of Tamil Nadu. Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) led by TVK chief Vijay has been given unconditional support by Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK). After this support, the way has been completely cleared for Vijay to form the government.

Got support from 118 MLAs

According to sources, after the addition of two VCK MLAs, TVK has got the support of a total of 118 MLAs, which is the required number for majority. Earlier TVK had the support of 116 MLAs, which included MLAs from Congress and Left parties. Now after completing the majority, Vijay will stake claim to form the government by submitting the letter of support to the Governor.

Claim letter will be handed over to the Governor

Now Vijay will hand over the letters of support of all 118 MLAs to the Governor. After this the Governor will formally invite them to form the government. This development is being considered a turning point in the politics of Tamil Nadu.

VCK gave unconditional support

On behalf of VCK, Legislative Party leader Vanni Arasu wrote a letter to the Governor confirming support to TVK. The letter said that this support is being given to ensure stable and democratic governance in Tamil Nadu and this should be put on record.

Congress and leftists have different stances

According to sources, the left parties have given unconditional support to TVK, but have decided not to join the cabinet. Whereas Congress has given support, but has kept the condition of two ministerial posts.

Big change in political equation

According to the information, there are also reports of rebellion of three AIADMK MLAs and they are likely to join TVK. Due to this, the political equations may change further in the future.

Path almost clear for Vijay to become Chief Minister

With the support of 118 MLAs, Vijay’s path to becoming the Chief Minister is considered almost certain. Now all eyes are on the next action and official announcement of the Governor.
