The Amazon Prime TV adaptation of the Fallout video game series has led to renewed interest in the iconic Bethesda franchise. Fans both new and old are especially keen to revisit some of the more beloved entries in the series, specifically Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Bethesda appears to have heard the fans, with reports that both games are being remastered for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, similar to the Elder Scrolls IV remaster from 2025. If the latest reports are to be believed, then it looks like we may get the Fallout 3 remaster later this summer.

Rumblings of a summer launch are linked to a listing for a new Fallout toy range from McFarlane Toys.

Launching on August 31, the new figurine is listed with the following description: "ELITE EDITION 7IN - FALLOUT 3 REMASTERED - #13 T-45B NUKA COLA."

As Screenrant points out, the Fallout 3 Remastered description hasn't been removed since the listing went live. This has led to speculation that the toy line will launch alongside a Fallout 3 Remastered video game this summer.

The timing would certainly make sense, giving Fallout 3 Remastered plenty of time to build an audience ahead of the release of GTA 6.

If Bethesda does release a Fallout 3 or New Vegas remaster, then fans will be hoping for something similar to the Elder Scrolls IV remaster.

Last year's remaster featured new and improved visuals, as well as modern quality of life upgrades.

The upgraded visuals include more detailed character models, improved lip synching, real-time lighting and other enhancements.

That's on top of gameplay tweaks like the addition of a sprint mechanic and new combat animations.

Furthermore, the game comes with the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansions, as well as the Fighter's Stronghold, Spell Tomes, Vile Lair, Mehrune's Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard's Tower, The Orrery, and Horse Armour Pack.
