Governor RN Ravi administered the oath to the officer in the august presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states. 3. Nishith Pramanik: Influential youth leader of North Bengal.

Suvendu Adhikari greeted Prime Minister Modi immediately after taking oath. BJP supporters believe that this is not just a transfer of power, but the independence of Bengal from the 'clutches' of TMC. Now the biggest challenge before Suvendu will be to bring the law and order of the state back on track and put the development model of 'Sonar Bangla' on the ground.
